FAQ

The 2026 theme is "More Than A Gift."

The scripture verse is Ephesians 3:20-21, "Now to him who is able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us—to him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen."

The national goal is $80 million.

Free offering envelopes, posters, prayer guides and DVDs are mailed annually to churches from the WMU/convention offices in January. For contact information for your state, click here.  Offering envelopes are also available for purchase through Lifeway at Lifeway.com/envelopes.

A promotion guide is mailed annually by the North American Mission Board to each church. If you would like a copy and have not received it by January 30, please contact NAMB to order or call 800-634-2462.

Videos, digital and printable resources are available online at anniearmstrong.com/Resources.

The offering was started in 1895 by Woman’s Missionary Union® (WMU) to benefit the work of the Home Mission Board (now North American Mission Board). In 1934, it was named in honor of Annie Armstrong, a bold missions advocate and WMU’s first national executive leader. Today, more than $2 billion has been donated by Southern Baptist churches and individuals.

Every dollar given goes to train and resource more than 3,000 missionaries and their families involved in church planting and compassion ministries who share the life-transforming gospel of Jesus Christ across the United States, Canada and their territories. For more information visit Your Gifts at Work.
